Saya Noé (HU, MY)

Hungarian independent artist Saya Noé is known for her moody alternative pop-noir sound, which combines flavourful layered vocal harmonies with dark griddy basslines and occasional hip hop and trap elements.  She is currently the most successful Hungarian Musician on Twitch, where she live streams her music to her multi-national audience several times a week.

The artist name Saya Noé is coined together by Saya (meaning ‘I am’ in Malay, referencing her childhood raised in Kuala Lumpur) and Noé, from her first name Noémi. Propelled into the world of music at a young age, the singer-songwriter transcended her classical roots into contemporary music when she switched from violin to guitar and began songwriting at age 14. She furthered her knowledge at the Budapest School of Music Technology, which has allowed her to write and produce her own music ever since.

Saya Noé has worked with Grammy-winning producer and mixer, Matt Lawrence (UK) and was also chosen by the Music Support Programme of the National Cultural Fund in Hungary (2020) in creation of her first full-length album. The debut album ‘Museum of Sins’ earned a nomination for the Hungarian Music Awards’ Modern Pop-Rock Album of the Year in 2022 (Fonogram).
