Jamie Brown (UK)

Jamie Brown is a highly acclaimed record producer, co-writer, multi-instrumentalist and mix-engineer, who works predominantly in the indie/alternative field. His work has secured multiple BBC Radio 1 and 2 playlists across a wide-range of artists, such as BLOXX, Eliza and the Bear, Lucy Rose, Judi Jackson, Charli XCX, Liam Payne, Priya Ragu and Olivia Rodrigo. Having honed his craft at world-famous studios such as Abbey Road, Rak and Metropolis, under the expert tutelage of top tier producers such as Chris Potter (The Verve, The Rolling Stones, U2) and Ed Buller (Suede, White Lies, Pulp), Jamie is based out of Portobello Studios (JBJ), in West London. Specialising in making records that appeal to radio, Jamie prefers to work in the analogue domain and mix on an SSL console and Studer tape machines. He is always looking to push the boundaries with his sound creation and go the extra mile, rather than reach for the first available plug-in. Being a capable musician across a wide-range of instruments also opens up a raft of in-session possibilities. Above all else, Jamie’s ethos is pretty simple “The song is king”.
