Maria Broberg (SE): How to write a song for the Eurovision Song Contest? • Songwriting Masterclass

After writing several songs for Eurovision, Maria Broberg (Maria Mathea) will let you in on her best advices on how to write songs aimed for the format. How to get to work on a 3 minute long song? How to write clear and recognizable choruses? What kind of message should our song contain?

In her masterclass at the DEX Songwriting Expo at BUSH – Based on her previous works, Maria presents step by step, what is necessary for a successful song performance at Eurovision.

Maria Broberg is a Swedish artist, topliner, songwriter, and A&R.

In her catalogue are over 100 million streams, several Eurovision entries, and songs for EDM acts such as Hardwell, Ummet Ozcan, KAAZE, Lost Kings, and many more.

As an additional program – Maria will be hosting a limited seating toplining workshop on how to make a catchy topline – not just for Eurovision. Every genre is welcome, but if you are really into EDM & pop music, this workshop is definitely for you.

Apply by submitting a song you wrote in English at expo@artisjus.com by 29th October. Subject: Application for Maria Broberg’s workshop. It can either be a studio or a demo recording. Based on the submitted songs, Maria will select the participants.

Applicants must hold a ticket for the masterclass on 3rd November.

Important! This program will take place in the afternoon of 2nd November at the HQ of Artisjus. It is the previous day of the masterclass at DEX @ Budapest Showcase Hub Conference.
